Once ATP is utilised it is converted into Adenosine diphosphate or ADP, Supplementing creatine create a bigger pool of creatine phosphate in your body allowing ADP to be converted back to ATP a lot faster, extending the intensity of your exercise
Basically, your body utilises creatine in the first part of intense exercise, once it runs out it swaps to a different energy system that is not as explosive, this affects your performance. HOW TO TAKE CREATINE
